A At Internet Documents, protecting your documents is our highest priority. With that in mind, our systems are built from the ground up using the following multi-layered security model.

Physical Security: Located at the EV1 data center, servers are protected with constant physical supervision. A hardened perimeter with 24/7 remote camera surveillance and a staff of security professionals keeps your documents safe from harm.

Backup Power: Documents are protected via N+1 power redundancy. In event of a power outage, five Mitsubishi 375 KVA UPS’s offer files immediate protection. Fifteen seconds later, redundant 1500 KVA backup generators are activated to shield documents indefinitely.

Redundant Internet Connectivity: To ensure fast, reliable connectivity, the data center connects directly to the Internet backbone via 13 redundant Gigabit links across six independent carriers.

Servers: Linux and Unix servers are maintained daily by a highly skilled team of technical engineers. All servers are kept current to the manufacturers’ and OS vendors' recommended patch level to insure trouble free and secure operation.

Backups: Daily backups to our off-site warehousing facility keep your documents completely protected. Monthly CD-ROM or DVD backups may be shipped upon request.

Data Encryption: Your documents are protected by 128 bit SSL encryption—the same technology trusted by financial and banking professionals. While loading, look for the small “pad lock” icon at the bottom of your web browser. This symbol is our promise that your documents are being safely transferred and protected.

Application Security: Integrated security features, including account lockout policies, data source obfuscation, and an integrated document permissions schema, ensure that only those with approved clearance can view specified documents.
